Antiques & Valuations

RJ Galleries specialises in furniture and clocks from the 1800’s. There is a huge range of beds, longcase clocks, wall & mantle clocks, barometers, chairs, chests, cabinets, dining tables, ceramics and much more encompassing many styles and periods.

We have fully restored and unrestored furniture.

Valuations - We offer a valuation service.

Restoration Services

We offer excellent quality furniture restoration and repairs.

We can fix broken and damaged furniture as well as refinishing surfaces.

Whilst we use the traditional method of French Polishing on our Antiques, we can offer other finishes.

We only offer pickup and delivery of smaller furniture in the Ballarat area.

There is a charge of $50 for this service on top of any repair charges.

Large items such as tables, bookcases, beds etc need to be brought to us.

This includes delicate items such as crystal cabinets.

We don’t offer upholstery services but we can recommend an excellent Upholsterer.

Clock servicing and repairs

We offer clock servicing and minor repairs.

Clock service and clean - $100

Cuckoo Clock servicing and clean -

$150

Clock repairs - Approx cost will be given once assessed.

To pick up, deliver back and setup a clock, a charge of $50 applies on top of service fee for Ballarat region.

Please enquire on cost if you live out of Ballarat.

If you drop off your clock and pick it up then this charge does not apply.

If we are unable to fix your clock we can recommend Clock repairers in Melbourne.
